Krithi Shetty earned a name for herself in the telugu cinema business with Uppena, earning 100 crores in her debut. Her second film, shyam Singha Roy, too did well at the box office. But since then, the young actress has had a spate of back-to-back disasters in the telugu cinema business, including The Warrior, Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Cheptha, macherla Niyojakavargam, and Custody.

All of her aspirations now rest on sriram Adittya's Manamey, in which she co-stars with Sharwanand. Manamey is set to enter cinemas on june 7. On the plus side, Krithi's tamil career began to take off while she was struggling in Telugu. Her tamil cinema schedule currently includes three high-profile projects.

First, she will appear alongside jayam ravi in the fantasy flick Genie. She will also star in Life Insurance Corporation, opposite pradeep Ranganathan, who is well-known for his role in love Today. She will soon star alongside karthi in Vaa Vaathiyar. The film was revealed on Karthi's birthday, which was Saturday. Vaa Vaathiyar was written and directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, well known for his legendary crime comedy Soodhu Kaavum.

In truth, Krithi was meant to appear with Karthi's elder brother Suriya. She was considered the heroine for the bala film Vanangaan, in which Suriya played the protagonist. However, the film's production was suspended, and no more updates were provided on its progress. In addition to her tamil and telugu films, Krithi will shortly make her malayalam debut alongside tovino thomas in the film Ajayam Randam Moshanam.
