Chief minister A revanth reddy stated on sunday that his administration is working for Telangana's cultural and economic rebirth and voiced his goal to make the state a global destination, claiming that the state experienced "destruction of 100 years" during the 10-year BRS rule.

Speaking during the state government's 10-year telangana formation day festivities, he praised former prime minister Manmohan Singh and Congresswoman sonia gandhi for achieving Telangana's long-standing desire for statehood under the previous UPA government at the federal level. In addition, he backed the government's choice to invite sonia gandhi to the function even though she declined.

At the ceremony, a video message featuring sonia gandhi was aired.

He recalled how important it was for sonia gandhi, former Speaker of the lok sabha Meira Kumar, and late bjp leader sushma Swaraj's bill to pass the parliament in 2014 to create the state of Telangana.

"We welcomed sonia gandhi, who realized the dreams of the telangana people, as a guest to the celebration of state creation day. Someone enquired as to why she had been invited. "Does inviting the mother to the child's house require permission?" he inquired.

According to him, telangana society would honor and recognize sonia gandhi as their "mother" for as long as Telangana's history endures.

The bjp has expressed significant opposition to the congress administration's invitation of sonia gandhi to the telangana Creation Day celebrations, stating that the government needs to disclose to the public the purpose of sonia Gandhi's invitation.

On behalf of the people of the state, revanth reddy congratulated sonia gandhi, Meira Kumar, and sushma swaraj for their contributions to the 2014 lok sabha telangana bill's passing.

He stated that sushma swaraj, who was the leader of the Opposition in the lok sabha at the time, had offered her help for the bill's passage.

He accused the former BRS administration of destroying the state, although he did not specify which party was involved.

"Telangana has seen 100 years of devastation during the 10 years of governance. Not only was there physical devastation, but basic freedoms were also violated. Justice for social justice was not served. A select few now possess the state's resources, which ought to belong to all citizens, he claimed.

He said that Telangana's customs and culture were being destroyed by BRS.

He continued, saying that shortly after assuming power, his administration had brought back "freedom" and opened up the government to the public.

Reddy claims that social reformer Jyotiba Phule is the name of the former Chief Minister's camp office-turned-official house, where a grievance-reporting mechanism has been established.
