The just-finished indian Premier League season, in which the Sunrisers hyderabad team suffered a crushing defeat in the championship game, has the telugu public preoccupied. The ap election results thereafter became the center of attention. The attention now turns to films since the ap polls have also concluded and the voters delivered a resounding verdict in favor of the tdp coalition.
 
Lately, there haven't been many telugu films that successfully draw large crowds to theatres. This weekend has three films that are almost ready for release on the 7th of this month: Navdeep's Mouli, Kajal's Satyabhama, and Sharwanand's Manamey.
 
The telugu people would be searching for a fresh source of entertainment when the elections and IPL are over, which might work in favor of forthcoming releases.
