Due to a technical issue, metro services on the LB Nagar-Miyapur route were substantially delayed on wednesday evening, causing passengers great discomfort. Three metro trains were forced to halt due to mechanical difficulties, which caused packed stations and carriages for a few hours. Heavy rains in the city made the problem worse by causing waterlogging and traffic jams, which made many people choose to take the metro.

Several images and videos of the commotion were posted online by irate passengers. But within a few hours, the problem was fixed, and the services were once again provided.

In the meanwhile, a TRANSCO feeder at the MGBS tripped this evening, momentarily affecting hyderabad Metro rail services, according to a statement from L&T Metro rail (Hyderabad) Ltd.

According to the statement, the problem was fixed in seven minutes when an alternate feeder at miyapur was linked, and train services soon resumed as usual.

The unexpected stopping of a metro train near Erram Manzil on wednesday was caused by a disturbance in the power supply, which was attributed by L&T Metro rail (Hyderabad) Limited. The HMRL spokesman said in a statement, "Hyderabad Metro rail services were briefly affected this evening due to the tripping of an incoming TRANSCO feeder at the MGBS." L&T Metro rail (Hyderabad) Ltd, however, said that the problem was fixed in seven minutes. It claimed that after an alternate feeder at miyapur was established, train services quickly returned to normal. It apologised for the inconvenience that the passengers had to endure.
