On Wednesday, the city saw its first monsoon rainfall of the year. In the evening, there were thunderstorms and high gusts together with heavy rain, which affected everyday life and caused water-logging in some regions. Dispersed showers of rain were seen in the afternoon in places like Dammaiguda, Mallapur, Kapra, Uppal, and Nacharam.
 

The sky darkened around sunset, and soon most of the city was submerged by torrential rain. The telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) reports that as of 6 p.m., nampally has recorded the maximum rainfall of 72.5 mm, followed by Khairatabad with 62.5 mm, bandlaguda and Asifnagar with 50.8 mm, and Shaikpet with 44.8 mm.
 
Rain fell in other areas of the city as well, such as Hitec City, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Banjara Hills, Dilsukhnagar, Yusufguda, Jubilee Hills, Nanakramguda, Bachupally, LB Nagar, Kukatpally, and others.


The city recorded the lowest temperature of any district on Wednesday, with a high temperature of 36.1 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 60%, according to the india Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad.
 
In many places, further rain is predicted over the night. On Thursday, there will likely be sporadic showers and largely cloudy skies.
 
The highest and lowest temperatures for the next 48 hours are probably going to be about 36°C and 25°C, respectively.
 

Telangana is under a yellow warning till june 9. On Wednesday, strong storms hit Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, and a few isolated places in other districts.
 
Up to june 9, a yellow notice signalling light to moderate precipitation has been issued for a number of state districts.
