While discussing the action scenes in "Kalki 2898 AD," amitabh bachchan apologised to Prabhas's fans during a promotional interview. He remembered being approached by filmmaker Nag Ashwin, who had brought over a sketch of Ashwatthama, his character. "Kalki 2898 AD" is getting ready for its big june 27 2D and 3D debut. prabhas, amitabh bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and deepika padukone play the key characters in the movie.
 
Amitabh Bachchan said in the interview that his character engages in fierce combat with Prabhas' Bhairava. "When Nagi [Nag Ashwin] came to me to talk about the project, he just brought a picture of what my character and prabhas are going to look like," the man stated. And I was this big person pushing "The Prabhas" away. I apologise to all of Prabhas's admirers. Mai haath jod ke maafi maang rahe hain (with my hands folded in apology). 'Kalki 2898 AD' is an action science fiction movie, written and directed by Nag Ashwin, that draws inspiration from Hindu mythology. Rumoured to be the most costly movie ever filmed, it supposedly has a budget of Rs 600 crore. With music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the movie is produced by vyjayanthi Movies. The supporting cast includes Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Shobhana, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, Pasupathy, Anna Ben, and Malvika Nair.
