As previously reported, pre-sales for Nag Ashwin's film have already brought in 5.11 crores in revenue (not including blocked seats). Shows on day one are already "almost full" in several venues throughout the country. Although it was predicted that this epic sci-fi action movie set a record at the box office, the trend thus far is unbelievable!

Nishit Shaw reports that kalki 2898 AD sold almost 68,000 seats on BookMyShow, an online ticketing company, in one hour. This is the highest milestone that a film in the advance booking phase has ever reached. Be aware that the list includes notable names like Leo, tiger 3, and Gadar 2.
