Prajwal Revanna was the subject of a fourth case when he was detained by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on May 31 upon his return to Bengaluru. He is currently being held in judicial custody till june 24.
 
The specifics state that the Crime Investigation Department (CID) office received a new complaint against Revanna, which includes allegations of sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation. After Revanna was charged with capturing a video call and sharing it with others, a case was filed.


Preetham Gowda, a former Hassan bjp MLA, and two other people were also accused of spreading the picture with Prajwal.
 
Section 354 ABD of the indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 66E of the Information technology Act, 2000 were the legal bases for the complaint brought against Revanna.
 
Revanna, who was detained on suspicion of rape and sexual assault against many women, was placed under 14 days of judicial detention by a Bengaluru court on Monday.
 
He was brought before the magistrate on Monday, after his imprisonment under the Special Investigation Team (SIT) expired. The magistrate remanded him to judicial custody until July 8.
 

The Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge heard Revanna's bail application in the meantime, and the court postponed making decisions until june 26.
 
Prior to this, Revanna was involved in three sexual assault cases. Additionally, rape allegations are made against him. Pen drives purportedly containing obscene movies purportedly featuring Revanna circulated around Hassan before of the lok sabha elections scheduled for april 26. This is how the incidents of sexual abuse came to light.
 
JD(S) removed him from the party as a result of the complaints made against him.
