Two complaints were made against AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday, the day after he caused a stir by praising a war-torn West Asian nation while taking the oath of office as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha. Details reveal that counsel hari Shankar Jain lodged a case against Owaisi based on the former's house chants.
 
Advocate Vineet Jindal submitted a second complaint against Owaisi, confirming on X that he had done so in accordance with Article 103 of the indian Constitution.


"Adv.Vineet Jindal filed a Complaint under Article 103 of Constitution of india with president of india seeking disqualification of Asaduddin Owaisi, mp under Article 102 (4) for displaying his loyalty or commitment to a foreign State "Palestine", (sic), his tweet stated.
 
Even although Owaisi said there was nothing improper in yelling "Jai Bheem, jai Meem, jai Telangana, jai Palestine" to media after leaving the house, his comments were removed.
 
When reporters questioned Owaisi about his comments, he responded, "Other members are also saying various things... Why is it incorrect? Tell me what the Constitution says. Listening to other people's opinions is also advisable. I stated what was necessary. Go over mahatma Gandhi's remarks about Palestine.
 

When asked, "Why did you bring up Palestine?" he said, "They are oppressed people."
 
Meanwhile, minister of Parliamentary Affairs kiren rijiju stated that he has heard concerns from several members on the reference to Palestine.
 
The head of the All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, who was elected to a fifth term from the hyderabad seat, took his oath in Urdu. Prior to taking an oath, he also said a prayer.
