The movie's script is one of its weaknesses. It takes a while for the screenplay to establish a sequel. The story's commonplace situations make it quite predictable. Because the environment is unrelatable and the action sequences are nonstop, it is hard to get invested in the primary characters.

It is challenging to support amitabh and prabhas while they compete for Deepika. amitabh recalls Kattapa, prabhas reminded of other larger-than-life characters from his previous films, such as Bahubali, Adipurush, and Saho, and Deepika's portrayal as a protective mother remembers of Sivagami. The characterization is stunning. In the end, Kamal Haasan's physique resembles that of Saif ali Khan's in Adipurush. Even the smallest emotional connection in the film evokes memories of earlier prabhas films.

With all of the characters developed, the film closes well and sets up an intriguing confrontation between prabhas and kamal haasan in the last scene. Though the film's audacious concept, meticulous attention to detail, and lavish production value are commendable, its inability to hold the attention of the viewer results in a disjointed viewing experience. kalki 2898 AD is a telugu movie directed by nag ashwin and starring prabhas, kamal haasan, deepika Padukone, and amitabh Bachchan.
