For two days, drinking water delivery will be interrupted in a number of hyderabad neighbourhoods due to essential repairs being made to the NRV valve on the second pump at the Kondapur pump house of the krishna Drinking Water delivery Scheme Phase-II. In the impacted regions, residents were advised to use water carefully by hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) authorities.
 
Several areas of Greater hyderabad are supplied with water by the krishna Drinking Water Supply Scheme Phase-II. However, an unforeseen repair was needed for the NRV valve on the second pump at the Kondapur Pump house, so authorities immediately began restoration work.


The drinking water supply in several regions under the control of HMWS&SB's Operations and Maintenance Divisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10(A), 10(B), 13, 14, 16, and 20 will be completely disrupted on wednesday and thursday due to these repair activities. According to a press statement from the official source, water pressure will be delivered in some locations even if there may be partial disruptions in other places.
 

The areas where water supply will be disrupted include NPA, Mir Alam, Balapur, Maisaram, Barkas Bhojagutta, Allabanda, Mekalamandi, Bholakpur, Chilkalguda, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Bouddha Nagar, Marredpally, Control Room, Railways, MES, Cantonment, Prakash Nagar, Patigadda, Hasmathpet, Ferozeguda, gautam Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, BN reddy Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Autonagar, Alkapuri Colony, Mahendra Hills, Elugutta, Ramantapur, Uppal, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Chilkanagar, Beerappagadda, Budwel, Shastripuram, Meerpet, Badangpet and Shamshabad.
