After actor Pavithra Gowda, the partner of incarcerated kannada superstar Darshan Thoogudeepa, was spotted applying cosmetics while in police detention on Wednesday, the karnataka police sent a warning to a female Sub-Inspector. The primary suspect in the Renukaswamy murder case, Pavithra, was brought to her Bengaluru home in order to document the site of the crime. She was observed grinning and putting on lipstick and mascara as she and the police officers drove back from her house.

The images sparked a new discussion about Pavithra Gowda's alleged lack of regret for killing Darshan's admirer, Renukaswamy. In the meanwhile, SI has received a notification regarding the carelessness from the DCP (West) office, and an explanation has been requested.

"Pavithra used to spend every night at her house, where she most likely kept her cosmetics bag. She used to be picked up and taken to the ap nagar police station by the female PSI who used to go there every morning. Pavithra might have been stopped from doing that by the female PSI who saw it happening. She has been given a notice to explain for her carelessness," DCP (West), Girish said.

Leading kannada cinema star Darshan Thoogudeepa is accused number two in the case, having allegedly carried out the murder, while Gowda has been listed as the first accused, purportedly for being the motivator.

Renukaswamy, an actor's admirer, reportedly sent vulgar messages to Pavithra, which infuriated Darshan and prompted him to plan and carry out the murder, according to the police. On june 9, the body of Renukaswamy was discovered next to an apartment building in Sumanahalli, along a storm-water drain. On june 8, he was allegedly tortured to death.

In connection with the case, Darshan, Pavithra, and fifteen other people were detained and are still in judicial custody.

Reportedly, Renukaswamy was taken to a shed in Bengaluru's R R nagar by one of the accused, Raghavendra, who belongs to Darshan's fan club in Chitradurga, under the guise that Darshan wished to see him. It is said that he was slain and tortured in this shed.
