On Thursday, heavy rains caused serious traffic delays and widespread waterlogging in hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. The telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) reports that Edulagattapalli in Karimnagar, Karimnagar, had the most rainfall (81.0 mm), followed by Pochampalli (68.0 mm) and Narmetta (63.3 mm). Hyderabad's circles had varying amounts of cumulative average rainfall; Saroor nagar recorded 14.5 mm, while Chandrayangutta recorded 14.4 mm. Except for Malkajgiri, which got moderate to extremely low rainfall, the bulk of the city saw modest rain. Significant traffic jams were caused by the heavy rain in important locations including Nampally, Khairatabad, Banjara Hills, Secretariat, and Somajiguda. 

In these areas, which were infamous for persistent flooding, traffic moved slowly. people complained of severe traffic slowdowns during rush hour, which was made worse by the rain. Particularly impacted was the bio-diverse crossroads leading to Khajaguda Lake, where waterlogging forced five or six lanes of traffic down to one.

According to Hyderabad's weather prediction, june 28 will mostly be overcast with a chance of light rain or thunderstorms in the evening and overnight. According to the TGDPS data, there will probably be moderate to severe rainfall in several areas till june 29. Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Jangaon, and the surrounding regions received a lot of rain, according to the cumulative rainfall distribution chart, whereas Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, and kamareddy had less rain.
