With great expectations for the next administration, local builders have appealed for expedited IT investments, an early completion date for the Bhogapuram international airport, flyovers at busy city intersections, and the start of Metro rail from steel plant to the Bhogapuram airport. Due to his reputation as an enterprising leader, chief minister Nara chandrababu naidu is expected to introduce new laws aimed at increasing building in the state's capital and commercial center.

The city had a significant uptick in construction activity when the previous administration moved to establish Visakhapatnam as the administrative capital, but no one was interested. Over 15,000 apartments were unsold as the capital initiative took a long time. To offset the interest on their capital investment, builders—who made significant investments in real estate projects—began providing incentives for the purchase of apartments.

"We want to contribute to the state's money; we don't want any concessions. B Srinivas, the city president of CREDAI, stated, "All we want is development activities like bringing in investment in the IT sector from abroad as well as inside, completion of the Bhogapuram international airport, construction of flyovers and initiation Metro rail here." He mentioned that august 2026 is when the airport construction is scheduled to be finished. The past five years, including the years of the Covid epidemic, have seen little progress in the building industry. Over 15,000 apartments were left unsold.

People adore being in Visakhapatnam because of its serene environment, breathtaking scenery, lovely beaches, and sufficient amount of greenery, according to Srinivas. Even if the state burns in the summer, the temperature stays bearable. According to a different constructor, plans have emerged on both sides of the 50 km, six-lane road that is now being constructed between the city and the Bhogapuram airport. According to young builder Garugunalli Rajesh, most builders in this city were selling reasonably priced homes because the urban middle class's income levels were lower than in other tier-two cities.

"Vizagites' average income still hovers around ~25,000 to ~35,000, and these groups cannot afford homes that cost more than `50 lakh," Rajesh stated. Yendada, Sagarnagar, Madhurawada, Anandapuram, and certain parts of bheemili are currently under construction. There isn't any empty land in the city's central districts.
