According to Mid-Day, Aditya Roy Kapur, who garnered praise for his first appearance in the web series The Night Manager, will be starring in a new web series. Following six months of deliberations with the director team Raj-DK, Kapur approved the idea in May. Actor samantha Ruth Prabhu, who starred in Raj-DK's the family man 2 and the upcoming Citadel: Honey Bunny, will also be seen in the future series, which is provisionally named Rakhtabeej.
