Without a question, filmmaker nag ashwin has elevated the standard for telugu cinema with his new era science fiction thriller "Kalki 2898 AD," showcasing his technical mastery to remain ahead of his contemporaries. However, he has settled on a flimsy and manufactured storyline to spare Deepika, a pregnant lady, from death because it is believed that she would give birth to a god kid. He calls upon famous warriors from mythology, such as Aswadhama and Karna, to fight against opponents equipped with gadgets who come from a dystopian metropolis governed by Yashkin (Kamal Hassan), who feeds bad dreams.

But the guy known as amitabh steals the show with his sultry rage and takes care of his opponents like they're nothing while defending a pregnant lady. In those procedures, Prabhas's role takes a backseat, and he even faces off against amitabh, losing. Up until he turns around and teams up with Big B, prabhas plays a bland character who would stop at nothing to get a reward.

This doesn't resonate with the viewers. prabhas has often played a hero in films like "Baahubali" and "Salaar," but in this one, he plays a lighthearted character who just wants to enjoy cuisine at a palace in an affluent complex and has no real motivation. As a result, his exaggerated persona has been somewhat muted, which may disappoint his followers.
