For the first time in a decade, Netflix is updating its tv interface to make it easier for users to locate series and films. With the new design, choosing what to watch is easier, allowing viewers to spend more time engaging with content and less time looking for it.

The changes include:

– Bigger and clearer title cards for shows and movies.
– A new “My Netflix” tab that shows your watchlist and in-progress content.
– A new layout with boxes that expand when you select them, showing important details like the summary and runtime.
– The menu has moved to the top of the screen for easier navigation.

Rather of concentrating just on the number of members, Netflix aims to increase the amount of content that users view. They anticipate that this revamp will improve the app and satisfy users. They are testing the new design on a limited set of users, and if user response is positive, they plan to release it to the whole public. In general, Netflix wants to make it quicker and simpler for you to discover content so you can enjoy using the app without being impatient with scrolling for too long.
