Leading telugu and bollywood actress samantha Ruth Prabhu has allegedly rejected to play Goddess Amman in the upcoming tamil film "Mukkuthi Amman 2," if reports in chennai are to be believed. According to a source, samantha was asked to play the god part, but she graciously rejected it since she admired the concept and the crew. Actor-director R J balaji was hoping to recruit another leading lady in his sequel, replacing the lovely actress Nayantara, who portrayed Goddess in the previous installment.
"Samantha was likely concerned about maintaining her image as a glam girl, which she has earned through the years from her choice of films and her ultra-modern appearance on social media, and she wanted to stay true to it," he continues. Talks are currently in progress for the creators to replace her with the gifted actress Trisha.
Samantha's recent song, "Oo Antava," went viral online, and her seductive dance moves captivated people of all ages everywhere. He notes, "She has to pick her roles with caution and understanding because she wants to do heroine roles in bollywood and tollywood for a few more years and looking to work with big stars like Salman, Allu Arjun, Vijay, and others." To increase her fan base, she is also playing a more glamorous character alongside varun dhawan in the hindi online series "Citadel: Honey Bunny."
