In Andhra Pradesh, the alliance between telugu desam party (TDP) and Jana Sena party came to power, with chandrababu naidu appointed as chief minister and pawan kalyan as Deputy Chief Minister. Despite only 20 days having passed since the formation of the government, elections were held again. Several MLCs from ycp joined TDP, and by-elections were necessitated by the disqualification of Ramachandraiah and Mohammad Iqbal. Since these positions are in the mla quota, they will both fall to the alliance.

Chandrababu Naidu offered senior leader Ramachandraiah, who began his political career with TDP, another chance to become an MLC. In contrast, Mohammad Iqbal, the minority leader who also joined TDP, was not given his MLC post back. Instead, the second MLC seat was allotted to Jana Sena, with Pawan Kalyan's political secretary, Pidugu Hariprasad, being given the opportunity.

However, this decision has sparked discussions in political circles. Both Ramachandraiah and Hariprasad belong to the Kapu social group. Allocating both MLC posts to the same social group has caused dissatisfaction within TDP. Many believe it would have been better to allocate one of the MLC positions to someone from the backward classes (BC) to maintain balance.

The choice of Kapu leaders as MLCs from both parties has raised questions about the correctness of this decision. Despite the absence of overt criticism, there is significant internal unhappiness within the party ranks.
