Recently, social media has been buzzing with speculation about actor Vijay's potential alliance with the AIADMK. Some argue that such a coalition could challenge the ruling DMK, similar to how pawan kalyan became the deputy chief minister of andhra pradesh by defeating jagan Mohan reddy through an alliance between chandra babu Naidu's telugu Desam and Pawan's Jana Sena parties.

Reports initially suggested that Vijay might apply this successful formula in tamil Nadu by aligning his tamil Nadu victory League with the AIADMK. However, it is now believed that Vijay is not considering this path. Instead, he is planning to form a separate third party. Here are the reasons and details emerging about his strategy:

  1. Vijay aims to start a new party independently. Aligning with the AIADMK in his first election might damage his brand.
  2. Advisors close to Vijay have recommended either standing alone or forming a distinct alliance.
  3. Vijay has had issues with the AIADMK since the time of the "Sarkar" and even before "Thaliva," making an alliance unlikely.
  4. Sources indicate that Vijay’s camp has quietly initiated talks for alliances. His strategy is to attract parties currently in the DMK alliance to his side.
  5. Vijay is specifically targeting the LTTE and one of the leftist parties, which the AIADMK has unsuccessfully tried to woo. These parties have avoided the AIADMK due to their association with the BJP, which Vijay does not share. Consequently, Vijay is seen as a more appealing partner for these parties.
