There is agitation in telangana over the state president position in the BJP. The party's senior command reportedly decided to defer the selection of a new president for several months. It has been reported that the high command intends to select the state president after the election of the national president. Telangana's party, meantime, has split into two factions that are each endorsing a candidate of their choice. Two groups comprised of former party members and recent converts from other parties make up the first group.

Kishan reddy is the state president of the bjp at the moment. He was appointed Union minister of Mines and Coal recently. The party's goal is to absolve him of his official presidential responsibilities. Members of the state were later asked for their thoughts on the best candidate to be the next president. Senior and well-liked state leaders began pressing federal officials at the same time.

Along the way, there was also a verbal altercation between raja Singh and Etela Rajender. However, it appears that local RSS officials are pressing for a candidate who has been a member of the party for a considerable amount of time and shares its morals and principles to be awarded the position.

The candidates for president are reportedly MLC Ramachander Rao, mp Dharmapuri aravind of Nizamabad, mp DK Aruna of Mahabubnagar, mp Etela Rajender of Malkajgiri, and mp Raghunandan Rao of Medak. It has been reported that Ramachander Rao and Etela are actively pursuing the role.

Some bjp members who have been in the party for a long time are backing Ramachander Rao, while others are in favour of Etela, arguing that the party needs a popular face to lead it. As a result, insiders (those who have been in the party for a long time) and outsiders (those who just switched from other parties) are at odds in the state bjp, which worries the local cadre. They are asking the central command to resolve the conflict as quickly as possible.
