In the wake of the students Federation of india (SFI) calling for a Bharat Bandh on Thursday, July 4, Hyderabad's schools and institutions have declared tomorrow as a vacation. A re-examination of NEET-UG students has been demanded by student organisations nationwide due to a dispute about the exam's findings and a purported paper leak.

Student unions urge schools, colleges to observe bandh in hyderabad, Telangana
While some institutions and schools in hyderabad have not yet made the announcement, many have used whatsapp alerts and circulars to inform students of the shutdown in support of the bandh call. To guarantee that classes are not interrupted, the bulk of the city's colleges have made the decision to transition to an online format.

On Tuesday, national leaders of the Progressive Democratic students Union (PDSU) and SFI student organisations in hyderabad had demanded a bandh of universities and schools. SFI is advocating for a bandh at educational institutions to express disapproval of political participation in prestigious universities. Additionally, they want the unlawful cases brought against students and student leaders to be dropped.

They claimed that the NEET test results were altered and called for a re-examination and its cancellation, citing worry for the future of 24 lakh applicants. The leaders urged parents to convince schools and colleges to announce a holiday and asked them to join them in their agitation to guarantee a successful school and college bandh throughout hyderabad and other areas of Telangana.
