At the ghmc headquarters, she discussed street light maintenance with ESL representatives and Additional Commissioners. She recommended that repairs be made right away because of the impending monsoon season.

The ghmc commissioner stated in the meeting that people will have problems if there are no street lights at night. Additionally, Kata gave the competent agency instructions to guarantee buffer supply availability. To ensure that devotees have no problems during the approaching Bonalu festival, ghmc authorities have also been requested to install extra street lights at temples.


Cantonment boards are a holdover from british colonial authority that the central government is working to abolish. The states are urged to finish the transition as soon as possible. Santhi Kumari did point out that the state administration has not yet received the report from the Central committee that was in charge of deciding on the specifics.
