On friday, the municipal police broke the impasse by storming inside a temple while wearing their shoes, purportedly to arrest several demonstrators. Allegations surfaced that the jobless youngsters engaged in a demonstration in front of the TGPSC headquarters sought refuge in a temple when law enforcement launched an offensive against them in an attempt to stifle the demonstration against the government's purported failure to fulfill its electoral pledge to create employment.

The incident happened on friday afternoon at Sri kashi vishwanath temple in Nampally. According to the people who live nearby, police officers entered the temple after learning that there were ten to fifteen demonstrators inside.

Some constables, including a sub-inspector, stood inside the shrine wearing shoes, while one policeman took off his shoe. people with knowledge of the situation in the area claimed that the children refused to be taken into custody, arguing that they had come to pray.

One of the young people even went so far as to ask the police whether they were not even allowed to worship at the temple. But the young people were taken into custody by the police and sent to the local police station.
