One of the first big hits in the indian OTT market was Mirzapur. Mirzapur 2, its sequel, was likewise a huge success. The much anticipated Mirzapur 3 has finally debuted on amazon Prime after a four-year wait. The third season of Mirzapur carries on the story of conflict and bloodshed in a city under the Tripathi family's domination.

At first, the Pandit brothers, Bablu and Guddu, backed the throne held by Akhandanand and munna Tripathi. But when their courses diverge, a violent struggle for dominance results. The current season continues where the last one left off, with an emphasis on the eventual ruler of Mirzapur.

Though much was expected, Mirzapur 3 seems to be a filler season. Not much happens in the plot throughout 10 episodes. The characters are essentially the same: the ladies deftly manage events, the political games continue, Guddu Pandit battles his violent inclinations, Kaleen Bhaiya is recuperating, and munna Tripathi remains dead.

It is disheartening that there isn't more enthusiasm or a clear direction, especially after over four years of waiting. The program advances more by necessity than by originality, revisiting well-known topics rather than presenting brand-new ones. Shweta Tripathi's Golu and ali Fazal's Guddu Pandit are two particularly noteworthy performances.

Mirzapur 3 is a passably good film overall. It's not as exciting as the previous two seasons, but it still has some good points, especially with its fascinating characters and their relationships. The third season is only passable, while the previous two were fantastic. munna Bhaiya's absence harms the series tremendously, as predicted. Season 3 of Mirzapur, however, closes on a positive note. Poetic justice is served at the climax, leaving fans excited for the upcoming season.
