The main subjects of conversation at the recent meeting between the state's two chief ministers were the telangana government's desire for a portion of Andhra Pradesh's 1000 km of coastline, the finances of tirumala tirupati Devasthanams, and the potential resurgence of seven mandals, according to sources.

Chief Ministers revanth reddy and chandrababu naidu recently met to resolve long-standing problems between the two states that occurred during the division of Andhra Pradesh.

Seven mandals that were handed to Andhra during the polavaram project have been asked to be returned by the telangana administration to AP. Additionally, the congress administration has requested a rise in the water share, from 299 to 558 thousand million cubic feet (tmc).

The split of numerous state-run institutions and companies of the undivided state, detailed in Schedule IX and Schedule X of the andhra pradesh Reorganisation Act (2014), was one of the main concerns discussed at the more than hour-long meeting.

Speaking about the government's claim, an official stated that since the 1000 km coastline corridor was developed prior to the states' split, the telangana government is entitled to a portion of the earnings.

"There are no ports in Telangana. The merged state's citizens' money was used to improve the ports in AP. According to the Times of India, the official stated that telangana "deserves a share in them, the coastal corridor of 1,000 km, and the TTD."
