A fresh fraud involving YS jagan Mohan Reddy's 500-crore Rushikonda Palace is coming to light every day. The most recent sources state that Rushikonda Palace received letters from the energy Board to settle its approximately Rs. 60 lakhs in outstanding energy bills.
 
This palace is said to have two high-tension electric connections. Monthly bills for one connection (VSP2322) average about Rs. 7 lakhs, while bills for another connection average about Rs. 80000. This palace is empty, yet every day all of the lights are turned on to display its "grandeur." Consequently, around two units of current are used daily.
 

There is an outstanding balance of Rs. 54.52 lakhs from november 2023 to May 2024. The entire amount owed will be around Rs. 60 lakhs if the bill for june is included. Following the election of a new administration, word spread that there were outstanding power bills. The palace received notifications from the electricity Department authorities requesting payment within 15 days. There are several frauds involving Rushikonda Palace, which was constructed by the ycp administration, ranging from paying 36 lakhs for a bathtub to having 60 lakhs in unpaid electrical bills.
