ANI news agency said that a man in Sindh, Pakistan, has been taken into custody for burying his 15-day-old daughter alive, citing local media. According to Pakistani news station ARY news, the suspect, known as Tayyab, admitted to the murder and said that he was unable to pay for his young daughter's medical care due to financial difficulties.
 
Tayyab told the cops he buried his baby after putting her in a sack. Tayyab has been the target of a lawsuit. In order to access the child's grave for forensic analysis and postmortem procedures, the authorities are awaiting a court permission.
 
A husband and wife are accused of severely abusing a 13-year-old domestic servant in a different incident in Lahore's Defence B neighbourhood. The abuse allegedly included stripping and physical torture, according to ANI.
 
On the mother of the victim's complaint, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against the accused, Hassam, who is now in custody. Arrests for his wife are still in progress.
 

Tehreem, the victim, was reportedly subjected to ongoing physical abuse, including being stripped naked, according to the FIR, purportedly due to allegations of stealing. The mother also said that throughout the encounter, her daughter broke both her nose and her hand.
 
Following a medical evaluation, Tehreem was turned over to her mother's supervision.
