After the release of the Baahubali trilogy, prabhas gained widespread recognition, positioning him as one of the top pan-Indian celebrities with immense goodwill and global popularity. How successfully, therefore, did he make use of Baahubali's stardom? See you later. 2019 saw the release of Prabhas' saaho, also known as Baahubali 2, two years after the tsunami. 

Owing to Prabhas' immense popularity and goodwill gained from Baahubali, saaho gained a lot of traction in both hindi and telugu regions. But the movie was such a disaster that it didn't make it past the first weekend. In 2022, radhe shyam followed. The movie didn't seem too intriguing at first. Prabhas' celebrity helped it have a fairly decent beginning, but it was a complete bust on the second day. 

Given the subject matter, prabhas in the role of Ram, and the patriotic sentiment prevalent in the nation, Adipurush was predicted to be the next 1000-crore indian movie. However, nobody anticipated that filmmaker Om Raut would make this into a cartoon movie. The movie Adipurush ended up becoming the most trolled of all time. The release of Adipurush in the hindi belts severely damaged Prabhas' reputation and goodwill. With its 400 crore global gross, the movie was nothing short of sacrilege.

With the release of Prashanth Neel's Salaar, prabhas was set free. What Prabhas' followers anticipated from him was presented in the movie. Due in part to the action genre, Salaar performed well in the North. Despite earning 600 crores globally, the movie wasn't profitable enough to cover its expensive production expenses. With so many shortcomings, Salaar would always be viewed as disappointing since fans had higher expectations for the Baahubali star and kgf director combination.
 
Next, we have kalki 2898 AD, which was successfully launched a week ago. Once more, Prabhas' ideal blockbuster film was eluded by the film. The first part of the movie was tedious and dragged; but, the second part gave it the much-needed oomph. The movie is expected to gross between 800 and 900 crores globally over its run. Although this is Prabhas' greatest movie since Baahubali 2, it is nonetheless mediocre and falls short of his full potential.
 
 If prabhas can deliver an 800-900 crore grosser with mediocre content like kalki, just think what he might do with a film that is excellent from beginning to end. Prabhas' career is still being impacted by Baahubali's kindness. It's past time he produced a picture with strong drama, a strong emotional bond, and amazing action.

That movie turns out to be sandeep Reddy Vanga's Hope Spirit. Regarding Prabhas's resume following Baahubali, he has two respectable films and three massive failures. Although it might be deemed good, prabhas was held to far higher standards following Baahubali.
