In a teleconference with officers, ghmc Commissioner amrapali Kata, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, and Deputy Mayor Srilata Shobhan reddy assessed the extent of water logging in the city. "Emergency crews were dispatched to locations across the city where water logging spots were discovered. As a result, the water was removed and traffic was unaffected, according to a ghmc news release.
 

To periodically drain water from 140 stagnation spots, a total of 228 static teams, 154 monsoon emergency teams, and 168 dewatering pump sets have been assembled. In addition, ghmc urged residents in low-lying regions to notify authorities of any problems and to leave their homes only when required. The Commissioner has also directed the officers to exercise caution and heed the Meteorological Department's warnings.

The city saw sporadic drizzles throughout the day, which ended in a significant rainfall in the evening. A yellow notice has been issued for monday throughout hyderabad due to the likelihood of similar weather. Commuters were encouraged by the Met department to avoid unnecessary travel and to take safety measures in case of inclement weather. The telangana Development and Planning Society reports that Borabanda (51.5 mm), Shaikpet (54 mm), madhapur (53 mm), and Serelingampally (58 mm) had the greatest rainfall.
