The determination of Hyderabad's female motorcycle riders is unwavering even in the face of obstacles. Three driven women spoke about their experiences, goals, and the difficulties they encounter in a field that is dominated by males. The original plan was for a trip from hyderabad to Koil Sagar.

This private 300-350 km ride for women was planned on sunday by manish Reddy, a co-founder of the Xtribe riding organization and an avid biker and animal rescuer from Hyderabad. The trip was intended to encourage empowerment.

Software developer niharika Sharma of SS&C rides an Xpluse 200 4v. She says she enjoys long-distance riding because it gives her an adrenaline rush and allows her to experience the elements (rain, wind, and lessons learned from hurdles).

There are several obstacles in the way of a female rider, ranging from safety regulations to social perceptions. Riding an Xpluse 200 4v, Sheba Cornelius is an all-women bike group founder and community success manager at Convosight. She stated, "As a mother of two kids, it is challenging for me to go on rides frequently." But even with the chances against me, I make it a point to go on a long ride once a month at least since it inspires other women to ride and provides one a feeling of freedom and independence."

Nawya M, an animal rescuer and HR business Partner at IQVIA, remembers her early bike riding days when she purchased a larger motorcycle jacket to camouflage her look and prevent harassment on the highways. "Flashy bikers used to chase or abuse me a lot. Being a member of biker communities has helped, she adds. "I felt so targeted, but now I'm not conscious of my looks."

The bad state of public restrooms is another problem that all three bring up when discussing the need for toilet breaks during lengthy travels. They always have basic toilet kits with them and rely on the restrooms at restaurants and gas stations, particularly the newer ones. These riders place a high priority on safety; as a result, they always let family members know where they are, carry pepper spray, and carry swiss knives.

They carry hydration packs because they know how important it is to stay hydrated. The encouragement of the cycling community and encouraging remarks from the general public keep them going despite these obstacles. Sheba remembers, "Once when we were driving, a father and daughter pair begged to take a picture with me. It gave me a lot of inspiration and brought back my passion for riding.
