The majority of city drivers either stop their buses in the middle of the road or far from the stop, making it difficult for commuters to board telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) buses in the allocated bays.

Bus users, especially women and students, have difficulty accessing public transportation in several areas, including secunderabad railway station, Borabanda, Afzalgunj, Kukatpally, Uppal, Habsiguda, Nacharam, Musheerabad, Paradise, Chikkadpally, Patny, and Charminar. This is because rtc buses typically do not stop at designated stops.

This has resulted in overloaded buses, especially after the introduction of the "Mahalakshmi" free travel program for women. In addition, there is the matter of passenger safety. The risk of this technique has been brought up in several concerns, especially in populated settings.

RTC officials claim that not much has changed in practice, despite their best efforts to enact measures that would improve bus travel for customers.

Private employee Sushmita, who frequently commutes between secunderabad and Hitec City, stated, "We wait for the buses to arrive at the bus bays, but most drivers do not stop them there and halt some distance away." To board the bus, we have to scramble and hurry.

According to Sheela, an old passenger from Chikkadpally, buses typically don't stop at scheduled locations. On occasion, we have to board it by going to the center of the road. I am really afraid of accidents because of the excessive traffic.

According to rtc officials, all of its conductors and drivers have had training, and they routinely get orientation on passenger safety. To guarantee seamless embarkation and disembarkation for passengers as well, all appropriate safety measures are implemented and guidelines must be adhered to.

"We've asked the drivers to pull over at bus bays. drivers often stop their buses a short distance away from the stop, however this isn't always the case because of space restrictions and commuter safety. This was stated by a senior rtc official.
