There's a fake message going around on whatsapp right now that says reliance Jio is giving out free 3-month recharges to its customers in honour of Anant Ambani's wedding. The message, which is written in Hindi, tells users to click on a link in order to take advantage of the phoney free recharge offer. reliance Jio was contacted by india Herald to confirm the veracity of this statement. The telecom behemoth has clarified that it is not providing subscribers with free recharges and has cautioned against believing any such messages as they may result in financial loss.

"On the occasion of Anant Ambani's marriage on July 12th, mukesh ambani is giving three months free recharge of Rs 799 to everyone in india," the phoney message claims. Now, click the blue link below to recharge your phone." It has a link to MahaCashback, an unidentified website.

It is encouraged that users only use reputable online payment applications like google pay or official sources like the MyJio app to recharge their phones. The instruction to "click on the blue link" and the presence of an unauthorised website link for the recharge are only two of the warning signs in the message that point to its fraudulent character. Furthermore, the press would be flooded with reports if reliance Jio were really providing a free three-month recharge plan. Users can safeguard themselves from such frauds by transacting through only legitimate methods.
