According to a news statement issued by the hyderabad municipal corporation-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>greater hyderabad municipal corporation (GHMC) on Tuesday, monsoon emergency teams are prepared to handle any water logging problems that may arise around the city. The field officers were also receiving the meteorological department's regular weather forecasts as part of their preparation, so they could respond promptly.
 

Amrapali Kata, the ghmc Commissioner, and the zonal commissioners are giving the on-field teams directives immediately since standing water on the roadways is generating traffic congestion. Officers discovered to be disobeying their orders were also sent a warning about the repercussions.
 
"Actions have been done to avoid stagnation of rainwater." To reassure the public that they are ready, several teams have also built up tents at designated water logging locations and displayed banners there," the statement said.


Pre-monsoon preparations have included the preparation and stationing of dewatering trucks at water logging locations. ghmc has established 238 Static Teams and 254 Monsoon Emergency Teams in total. Furthermore, 29 CRMP and 30 EVDM are collaborating with each other.
 
In addition, the Commissioner has instructed staff to take action to guarantee that roads and drains are cleaned on schedule. After the rain stops, silt that has collected on the sides of the roadways is also cleaned, in addition to floating debris and mud that was carried in by rainwater entering the drains.
