Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, suffered greatly, especially in the script. In important scenes, the movie found it difficult to convey the appropriate gravity and feelings. Even the big surprise at the end depended more on Prabhas' commanding presence than on Ashwin's narrative skills. Even with the powerful subject matter of the Mahabharata, Ashwin's film was mediocre. The main reasons for its popularity were the exceptional fusion of three worlds, the stellar cast, and the superior technical quality.

According to industry rumours, trivikram may be directing Allu Arjun's upcoming film, which is scheduled for release in january 2027 after production starts in May 2025. This movie is anticipated to be produced with an enormous budget and scope, similar to the kalki model. trivikram is an exceptional writer, even if he has struggled a bit in the past several years. He is well knowledgeable in indian mythology, scriptures, customs, and culture.

The film may attain unheard-of success if he can write a script that skillfully combines these aspects with historical indian heroes and cinematic narrative. kalki (2898 AD) was criticised for having conversations that lacked substance. In addition, trivikram is well known for his superb dialogue writing. The film's potential is endless if he can write dialogue that is as powerful as that of films like Daana Veera Soora Karna and make it appeal to modern audiences. One of the best directors in the South, trivikram hasn't tried making a pan-Indian movie yet. Hopefully, his next project with allu arjun will be his big break in this area.
