Following Ladli Behna, the maharashtra government created the 'Laadla Bhai Yojna,' which provides monthly benefits of Rs 6,000 to males who finish the 12th grade. The plan was unveiled in Pandarpur on tuesday by chief minister Eknath Shinde, months ahead of the assembly elections.

Diploma students would receive Rs 8,000 per month under the plan, while graduate degree holders would receive Rs 10,000. The Mukhyamantri yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana would help enterprises meet their labor needs by giving job chances to those in need. The maharashtra government launched the 'Ladli Behna' plan last month, which provides economically disadvantaged women between the ages of 21 and 60 with a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500. ajit pawar, the state's finance minister, made the announcement. This plan has a budget of Rs 46,000 crore.

The declaration was made shortly after the ruling Mahayuti party lost the lok sabha elections, taking home only 17 of 48 seats.  Along with women and youth, ajit pawar also pledged some help for farmers, who make up a sizable portion of the voter base. He said that there would be no power costs for irrigation pumps. Growers of cotton and soybeans who did not get paid as much as they anticipated for their crop would get paid. Up to two hectares, the government would give Rs 5,000 per acre.

Farmers were angry with the government during the lok sabha elections for several reasons, including the prolonged period it was taking to relax the export prohibition on onions, which had a substantial negative influence on their income. To encourage female literacy and empowerment, the government also included a promise of free education for female students in the budget.
