Shanteri nagesh Nayak's phone has been ringing nonstop since tuesday morning at Cafe Mysore. The 75-year-old proprietor of Matunga's renowned and possibly oldest Udupi restaurant has been receiving calls from family and friends who want to congratulate her on the kind welcome she received from Anant Ambani and radhika Merchant at their wedding ceremony.

A 15-second video that went viral on social media showing an ecstatic Anant presenting radhika to the proprietor of Cafe mysore is what sparked the barrage of calls and texts. "Every Sunday, we eat your food in our house," she remarked, beaming broadly as she hurried up to greet her. “Thank you so much; only because of you, we…” added Anant as they both bent down to touch her feet. Shloka Ambani also joins them in the video, saying, “We really look forward to our Saturdays,” as she, too, touches her feet.

According to Shanteri, she was unaware of the now-viral footage. "After dinner, I told them I wanted to go meet the couple. After their employee went inside to ask for authorization, I was quickly granted VIP access to the stage in addition to being let inside. When The indian Express met Shanteri at Cafe mysore on tuesday evening, she recalled that there was a long queue of people waiting to get their pictures taken on the stage. "Their staff put my wheelchair on the ramp and I was on the stage in no time," she said, adding that Anant Ambani was ecstatic the moment she introduced himself.

He tapped my foot and gave radhika a brief call. They both tapped my feet and expressed excitement over the meal from Cafe Mysore. Shloka too caressed my feet and spoke similar words. They talked to me for a long, all giddy and pleased, and Anant even expressed his admiration that we were able to attend the wedding. For me, it was a great honor. They even requested a picture from me," she reminisced, expressing her joyful surprise.
