According to authorities, a travel influencer passed away on wednesday after falling into a gorge while filming a video close to the Kumbhe waterfalls in the Mangaon neighbourhood of Raigad. The deceased has been identified as mumbai resident Aanvi Kamdar, 26. Kamdar was a travel influencer who enjoyed taking reel shots. She had visited the waterfalls with her companions to take advantage of the wet season.
 
The deceased's leg gave out as she was filming and photographing the waterfall, causing her to plummet into a chasm that was 350 feet deep. The Sahyadri Wildlife Conservation Society and Mangaon police officers arrived at the scene with the rescue crews as soon as they received word of the event.
 
The woman was saved after falling into the gorge, according to somnath Gharge, Superintendent of police Raigad. But she died throughout the course of the treatment.

"There were large stones falling on us as we descended to save the woman from the gorge. It appeared as though the woman had passed away at first. But when I got closer, I could see that she was breathing, which proved she was still alive. She was brought to the hospital right away. But she passed away while receiving treatment, according to somnath Gharge.
 
Once the situation was assessed, the rescue mission was launched.
 
A family of five perished earlier on june 30 at approximately 12:30 p.m. in Pune's Lonavala after drowning in a waterfall close to the Bhushi Dam.
 
The rescue crews were able to retrieve the bodies.
 
According to a senior district official, one of the two children who went missing after the family perished was discovered dead.
 
Pune district collector Suhas Diwas issued a warning to the public, advising them to exercise caution when visiting new places and to avoid going near any bodies of water when it's raining.
 
"I call on the public to exercise caution and stay away from any streams or waterfalls," he warned. The management has requested us to handle any kind of problem, and we have given advisories. The past several days have seen a number of similar occurrences. The weather has to be considered when exercising caution and making appropriate plans.
