The telangana High court has responded to a public interest lawsuit that aims to remedy the unlawful demolition of parks and community centres in nampally by sending notifications to the state of telangana and several municipal entities.

Raheem Bin Hussain, a petitioner who lives in Goshamahal, Hyderabad, presented thorough submissions on september 14, 2023, and december 27, 2023, alleging that officials did not intervene to stop the private respondent from carrying out the unlawful building.

Nonetheless, the respondents in the case, which include the state of telangana represented by the MA&UD principal secretary, the ghmc commissioner, the assistant city planner, and two other people, including private respondent Hanuman Das Daga, receive notices from the division bench, which is made up of Chief Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Anil Kumar Jukanti.

On Taluk survey No. 24, block No. C, ward No. 45, in nampally village, Raheem Bin Hussain claims that Hanuman Das Daga has been illegally tearing down the GBC Gyanbagh Colony Community Hall buildings and existing parks in order to build a private functioning hall.

The PIL argues that the actions of the official respondents are illegal, arbitrary, and violate Article 14 of the Constitution of India, as they have allowed the unauthorized construction without any valid permissions.

Since the space in issue is intended for a community hall and children's park under the authorised plan, the petitioner has asked the court to order the ghmc officials to remove the illegal constructions and take prompt action against the private respondent.

The bench postponed the decision for a period of four weeks.
