According to authorities, disciplinary action has been initiated against the Moghalpura inspector and he has been relocated from the station after a complaint was made about him for beating the people and using deplorable language in Hyderabad's Old City. Durga Prasad, the cop, was observed assaulting pedestrians and commuters in the Old City without cause.

After footage of the excessive use of force by the police appeared on social media, a complaint was made to Kothakota srinivas Reddy, the municipal police commissioner. The allegation claims that the Moghalpura inspector, who is a member of the hyderabad police's Mission Chabutra, was assaulting and bothering individuals during the night. The campaign aimed to discourage young people from loitering outside of their houses late at night.

A complaint was previously filed against Moghalpura inspector Durga prasad for needlessly beating members of the public, including commuters and pedestrians, in Hyderabad's Old City.
