Actor raj tarun was scheduled to appear for today's interrogation at the Narsingi police station about the charge that his former partner Lavanya filed. But raj tarun submitted a letter to his lawyer, avoiding the interrogation altogether. He said in the letter that he would be promoting and releasing his new films for the next four days, which would prevent him from coming in for interrogation. 

His statement was accepted by the police, and a fresh notice with a new date should be sent out shortly. It remains to be seen if raj tarun chooses to go again or show up at that time. The actor from Kumari 21f has been in the news recently due to rumors about his supposed romance with Lavanya. Lavanya accused raj tarun of cheating on her by having an affair with actress Malvi Mahotra in a police complaint. Malvi and raj collaborated on the film Tiragabadara Saami.
 
Lavanya said to the police that raj tarun had married her, that they had a relationship, and that he had previously forced her to have an abortion. With sufficient proof, she filed a case against raj tarun with the assistance of her attorney. raj tarun is identified as A1, Malvi Malhotra as A2, and her brother mayank Mahotra as A3 in the police case. raj tarun received a notification from the police requesting that he appear for interrogation at Narsingi police station yesterday, July 18, after the case was registered. He chose not to go, though, and further notifications from the police are probably on the way.
