The central premise of Bad Newz is that a woman may conceive a child simultaneously with two different guys. There is no spoiler here. The trailer makes this extremely clear. Please refrain from asking if it is medically feasible at this time. Heteropaternal superfecundation is the term given to this supposedly incredibly uncommon occurrence. So proceed with caution and proceed with a large dose of salt.

Chef Saloni Bagga (Triptii Dimri) works in a high-end eatery. To receive a Meriyaki star is her desire. Her parents have consistently pushed for her marriage. Her meet-cute with Viky Kaushal's akhil Chadha is the most Bollywood-esque. Before you can find Greek on a global map, they're racing off on their honeymoon to the same location where they first met at a wedding, flames flying. The problem is that akhil leans towards becoming a mama's boy. In addition, he is a selfish ass who only sees his own wants.

Saloni chooses to break up with him and go to the hills because she can no longer put up with his childish behaviour. There, she meets the hotel's awakened owner, with whom she quickly becomes intrigued. Amy Virk's character Gurbir Pannu is the epitome of gentle masculinity. In summary, he is exceedingly polite, honours a woman's desires, and embodies all the qualities that akhil did not possess.

She ends up sleeping with him one day, or rather, one night, when she's a little tipsy. Even worse, she becomes even more inebriated and goes on to have sex with her ex straight after. This results in the previously noted dilemma, where she becomes pregnant with twins who have different dads. Surprisingly, the lads are cool with it all and even fight for her hand while acting like worried dads. The main plot point of the movie is who ends up with the twins and the girl.

The movie's audacious and inventive idea is somewhat startling. It aims to tick all the appropriate boxes by presenting a heroine who advocates for the idea that a woman's objectives are just as significant as a man's. and that she won't accept anything without a fight. At a later scene in the movie, she also makes the choice that she alone is the child's owner and that she will not allow anybody else to make decisions on their behalf.

Although the heroine is portrayed as the most mature person, her heroes still need to mature. Throughout the course of the movie, Vicky Kaushal's character in particular sort of finds himself. Even though they are immature, Ammy Virk is also revealed to have his fair share of insecurities.

This is Triptii Dimri's official commercial debut, and she lives up to the anticipation generated by the Bhabhi No 2 memes that went viral following her sultry appearance in Animal. She holds her own in the poignant moments and has always been a natural in front of the camera. It seems too simple for her to be in this situation given her range. The filmmaker has made extensive use of the fact that she doesn't appear cheap when sporting a flesh display.

Bad Newz has the potential to be an engrossing drama about human foolishness. But the assembly is shoddy. It's strange that filmmaker anand Tiwari, who previously gave us a sophisticated musical like Bandish Bandits, lacks any sense of refinement. You will find some amusing parts in it, particularly when it makes lighthearted jabs at well-known dharma works from the past. The internal jokes, together with the clever language, are sure to make you grin. The film's funniest sequence is when Saloni's family ignores her tirade because they're too busy binge-watching a reality programme with none other than karan Johar.

Overall, watch for some Goofy Laughs!
