Friday saw major interruptions for several firms in hyderabad as a result of the worldwide Blue Screen of Death problem brought on by the microsoft Windows outage. The issue arose in the morning as workers from different IT companies tried to get to work. Many encountered the dreaded blue screen error, which rendered their computers inoperable, in place of the customary login screen. Widespread anxiety and annoyance have been brought on by this problem since vital procedures have been suspended.

The impacted organizations' IT staff were attempting to fix the problem. Due to the size of the issue, many workers were unable to reach their workstations until the most recent reports were received. Project deadlines have been impacted and a large amount of productivity has been lost as a result of this interruption. An employee of a significant Hyderabad-based IT company stated, "The team attempted everything, but was unable to restart the computers." After entering and turning on the computer, one user's PC shortly displayed a blue screen and prevented him from logging in again.

There are differences in the effects of the outage in Hyderabad. Many businesses operate their systems on N-1 redundancy to minimize any impact on workflow. According to Prashanth Nandella, head of the hyderabad Software Enterprises Association, this is the reason why the majority of banking activities are not significantly disrupted.

In the meantime, developers got together a workaround for individual booting systems, which can be used to get the systems back online

- · press F8 or Shift + F8 to boot Windows into safe mode or the windows recovery environment.

· Go to this directory on the system - C:-Windows-System32-drivers-CrowdStrike

· Locate the file matching "C-00000291*.sys" and delete it.

· Restart computer.
