While the india Meteorological Department-Hyderabad (IMD-H) extended its red alert of heavy rain for two more days in Adilabad, komaram bheem asifabad, mancherial, Nirmal, and Peddapalli, a strong deluge pounded various districts of telangana on Friday.
 
The Jayashankar bhupalpally district of Mahadevpur saw the greatest rainfall in telangana this year, with 207 mm of rain falling between thursday evening and friday morning. The districts with the highest recorded rainfall are Vemanpally in mancherial (156 mm), Malhalrao mandal (159 mm) in bhupalpally, Kagaznagar in Kumuram bheem asifabad (159.3 mm), and Kotapally in mancherial (172 mm).


Hyderabad had moderate rains with some regions receiving an average of 30 mm to 55 mm of rainfall until friday morning, while the districts were battered by torrential rain. The IMD-H has issued a yellow notice for saturday in the city due to the possibility of gusty gusts, sporadic strong periods, and moderate rains.
 
Rainfall ranged from moderate to heavy in several hyderabad suburbs, including kukatpally, Patancheru, Quthbullapur, Serilingampally, Malkajgiri, Balanagar, Ramachandrapuram, Maredpally, Uppal, Alwal, Khairtabad, and Shaikpet. Samishguda in kukatpally had 42.8 mm of rain, while Hydernagar in kukatpally recorded 53 mm.
 

According to statistics from the telangana Development and Planning Society (TGDPS), Khammam, Mahabubabad, Jayashankar bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Warangal, Suryapet, and bhadradri Kothagudem districts saw moderate rainfall on friday following the storm on thursday night.
 
Mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Narayanpet are all under a yellow alert signifying heavy rain. Lightning and strong winds (30–40 kmph) are expected to accompany thunderstorms, which can occur in isolated areas throughout Telangana.
