The extended delay is now finished. chief minister A revanth reddy will inaugurate the Gopanpally Thanda flyover to traffic today at 11 a.m. The flyover, which was built for Rs. 28.50 crore, features two exit ramps. One allows one-way traffic flow from Gowlidoddi to Nallagandla, a distance of 430 meters, while the other allows a 550-meter trip from Gowlidoddi to Tellapur.

As part of a radial road, the flyover was built to provide unrestricted traffic flow from the HCU bus terminus to the Outer Ring Road via Vattinagulapally. Even though the building was supposed to open for traffic in June, the lok sabha elections caused a delay. The Financial district and Hitec City's IT corridors would see less traffic with the construction of this flyover. The construction would be very helpful to drivers going towards the Outer Ring Road in addition to IT workers, according to a statement released by Serilingampally mla Arekepudi Gandhi.

Starting from Gopanpally Junction, the facility has two exit ramps – one near the back gate of the university of hyderabad towards Nallagandla, and the other towards Tellapur. With an uptick in development in these areas due to their proximity to the IT hub, this 0.5 km one-way overpass was constructed by the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department to cater to the growing vehicular traffic.
