Following a global microsoft technical issue, as many as 37 flights, comprising 20 departures and 17 arrivals, were canceled at Hyderabad's rajiv gandhi International airport (RGIA) on Friday. There were flights from hyderabad to Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, among other locations. A significant portion of the passengers had to stand in line to receive their manually issued boarding cards.

The Global outage continues even on the second day.  The RGIA issued an advisory to the passengers saying, “Due to the global IT outage, services of airlines have been impacted. We are closely working with all our stakeholders to minimize the inconvenience to our flyers. You may please get in touch with the airline concerned for updates on your flight information.”

The majority of indian airports have been affected by the Microsoft/CrowdStrike outage, according to a traveller named Akshay Kothari, who posted his boarding card on X. Today, I received my first handwritten boarding permit. In the meantime, the airport Authority of india (AAI) was actively managing the situation by utilising manual means to guarantee minimal interruption, according to a statement released by Civil Aviation minister Rammohan Naidu.

"I've given the go-ahead for airport management and airlines to show empathy by giving delayed customers additional seats, drinks, and food. We are aware of your worries and are making every effort to make sure you travel quickly and safely. We really appreciate your cooperation and patience," Naidu said in a statement.
