Starring in the cop action drama deva is bollywood actor shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in the sci-fi romance comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Rosshan Andrews is the director of the film, which stars pooja hegde as the primary female character. A revised release date for the film has been announced by the producers. Deva, which was once supposed to open in theatres around Dussehra, is now slated to open on february 14, 2025.
The film is now in post-production, having finished filming not too long ago. In addition to Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait in important parts, Sidharth Roy Kapoor is the film's producer. pooja hegde essays the role of a defiant journalist in this movie. She pinned huge hopes and now as the movie is delayed she has no other choice other than to wait until 2025. Even 'Suriya 44' is postponed to 2025 after aiming for a december release.
The actors released Shahid's gun-wielding and bulletproof jacket-wearing appearance from the movie.  The film's creators had earlier shared images from a wrap celebration, at which pooja could be seen cutting a cake, to announce that the film's filming was now complete. Zed Studios and siddharth Roy Kapoor are the producers of Deva. It is written by hussain dalal (2 States, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Arshad Syed (Shaadi Ke Side Effects, student of the year 2), and sumit Arora (Jawan, chandu Champion).
