Bollywood seems to be watching Prabhas' flicks nonstop. Adipurush came under fire last year for misrepresenting the Ramayana. Then, Salaar faced criticism for supposedly using unethical tactics to increase its revenue, particularly during conflicts with Dunki. It's Kalki's time now, 2898 AD. The creators of kalki were recently accused by several members of the hindi trade of manipulating box office receipts.

Now that the filmmakers have allegedly offended Hindu sensibilities, they are being served a legal notice. kalki (AD 2898) is embroiled in a court dispute. A legal complaint was handed to the actors and filmmakers by bjp supporter acharya Pramod Krishnan of kalki Dham Peethadheeshwar, who accused them of insulting Hindu deities and misrepresenting holy literature. On behalf of acharya Krishnan, supreme court attorney Ujjawal anand sharma serves the legal notice.

According to the notification, the movie's depiction of Lord kalki is not only erroneous but also demeaning to holy writings that are important to millions of followers. It issues a warning that these portrayals can cause Hindus to get confused and harm their faith. Speaking to PTI, acharya Krishnam underlined that misrepresenting Hindu scriptures is wrong and emphasized the importance of Lord kalki in Hinduism.

He said that the foundation stone for the Shri kalki Dham temple in Uttar Pradesh, the birthplace of Lord kalki, was recently placed by prime minister Narendra Modi. acharya emphasized that the film conveys an incorrect message to the audience. Advocate Sharma echoed these worries, claiming that the filmmakers had ulterior intentions and had appropriated sequences from Mahabharat to validate their claims of authenticity. He gave the example of deceptive material the portrayal of Lord Kalki's artificial insemination birth.
