The telangana State education Department decided to alter the times of the state's schools. Regarding the modification of school working hours, the department has also issued directives. The state's government high schools will henceforth be open from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., according to the directive. These schools used to be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Officials from the education Department made it clear that classes in elementary and upper primary grades will run as usual from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Furthermore, schools in telangana districts—aside from the twin cities of hyderabad and Secunderabad—are subject to time adjustments. Schools in the twin cities will stay open from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.


The state government of telangana issued an order to modify high school schedules to standardize them. With immediate effect, the timetable of high school will match that of primary and upper primary schools. The directive was issued on July 19 by Telangana's director of school education.
