They previously collaborated on the highly successful the family man Season 2 project. She also finished filming Citadel, which stars varun dhawan and is about to be released. According to the most recent information, Samantha's upcoming bollywood film will be called Rakht Brahmand and Raj. DK will provide funding for the production in collaboration with Netflix.

Leading actors Aditya Roy Kapur, samantha, and wamiqa gabbi will star in the movie, which will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the guy behind the highly regarded Tumbbad film. In addition, raj and DK have been working on the script for a while and will be producing Rakht Brahmand.
